Opening Nights

Join us on the opening night of each maintsage show as we raise glasses high and toast our celebrated actors, designers and krewe. $35 per person (per show) includes the performance of King Lear and The Comedy of Errors and the opening night reception afterwards.

King Lear : Saturday, May 30, 2009 at 7:30 p.m.

The Comedy of Errors : Saturday, June 27, 2009 at 7:30 p.m.

 

Discount Tickets

To ensure that everyone has the opportunity to enjoy our performances, the Shakespeare Festival offers two half price previews and one Pay-What-You-Will performance for each mainstage production.

King Lear

1/2 Price Preview:                     Thursday, May 28, 2009 at 7:30 p.m.

1/2 Price Preview:                     Friday, May 29, 2009 at 7:30 p.m.

Pay-What-You-Will:                  Sunday, May 31, 2009 at 1:30 p.m.

The Comedy of Errors

1/2 Price Preview:                     Thursday, June 25, 2009 at 7:30 p.m.

1/2 Price Preview:                     Friday, June 26, 2009 at 7:30 p.m.

Pay-What-You-Will:                  Sunday, June 28, 2009 at 1:30 p.m.

Pay-What-You-Will performance tickets may only be purchased at the Box Office, 1½ hours prior to that show; $3 minimum per ticket. Full-price tickets may still be reserved in advance for those shows.

Student and Theatre Folk $12.50 rush tickets are available five minutes before curtain, in person, after all full-price requests have been processed.  Rush tickets are NOT available on opening nights, or for any productions other than King Lear and The Comedy of Errors .
